What a wonderful first day! I want to thank each of you for joining us during our first hour of school. It was great having you help ease the transition into our classroom and Irving School.
We had a very busy first day filled with exploring and learning all about Irving School and Room 116. We are beginning to establish rules, routines, and expectations that will help us learn and grow throughout our year together. I hope you were able to piece together the puzzle your child brought home and while doing so have a conversation about their first day of school. Additionally, it is going to be hot outside and around the school building this week. We will have plenty of water breaks throughout the day, but please feel free to send your child to school with a filled water bottle.
